Greater Rivermont Congregation Open House

Looking for something fun to do this holiday season in Lynchburg? Join us on Saturday, December 16 from 10am-2pm for Interfaith Outreach Association’s 3rd Annual Walter M. Fore, Jr. Greater Rivermont Congregation Open House. Cost for the open house is $20 per person and proceeds benefit Interfaith Outreach’s Emergency Assistance program. The ten congregations that will be open for the public are Agudath Sholom Synagogue, Centenary United Methodist Church, Church of the Covenant, Fellowship Church of Christ, First Christian Church, First Presbyterian Church, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Peakland Baptist Church, Peakland United Methodist Church, and St. John’s Episcopal Church.

A 35th Birthday Celebration for Interfaith Outreach will take place at 11am at Fellowship Church of Christ. Also, visitors may enjoy listening to the rehearsal of Cantate Children’s and Youth Choir of Central Virginia from 10am-1pm at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Look for more detailed info to come.

Tickets may be purchased at the following venues: Interfaith Outreach Association, Downtown Lynchburg Visitor’s Center, Boonsboro Gladiola Girls, and Aylor’s Farm Store in Forest. Tickets will also be available the day of the event at participating open house congregations. Cash and Check only.

Interfaith Outreach Association is a non profit located in Lynchburg, Virginia that has been helping families in need in Central Virginia since 1982.
